Had a short (45 minute) opening session to the company meeting at the McKimmon Center on NCSU campus in Raleigh. Then loaded up on 12 charter busses and drove to Wilmington. Each of the busses was a particular team (like our bus was China). Each bus then devided their participants into 4 different teams. Once we got to Wilmington, the four teams from each bus went to different areas and we all competed in a particular event. There was a downtown Wilmington scavenger hunt, a track and field ‘Lympics, a contest to see which team could create the best 30 second TV ad, and a competition to see which team could create the best race car out of the materials supplied. I was on the China ‘Lympics team. We didn’t do to bad. We don’t actually know how we scored on any of the individual competitions, but China came in 3rd overall, so I guess that isn’t too bad ;-) After the competition, we all loaded onto a big riverboat in Wilmington and went out on the river for dinner and drinks. Didn’t get back to Raleigh until 10:30 last night. I was *tired*.

Time to leave for day 3 in a few minutes. Today, meetings all day long until we head out to a night club tonight. I’m wondering if anyone will do a pole dance like Steve Coile did about 4 years ago ;-)
